CTA architecture + design is a company that supports the overall well-being of its staff. The Run for Women is a cause that specifically supports the mental health initiatives of women in Canada. Shoppers Drug Mart joins forces with local hospitals in major cities around Canada and raises awareness and funds for women’s mental health issues.
Naturally, the CTA Edmonton Office had to participate in this amazing event and support this cause. Considering the recent air quality in the Edmonton area at the time, it was a beautiful day and everything went smoothly. Staff had the option to run or walk the 5K race and then attended a lovely team brunch afterwards.
As Mental Health Awareness Month just past, we encouraged staff to reflect on how the month went and how faring emotionally and mentally. It is vital that we recognize the importance of prioritizing our mental health – it’s just as crucial as our physical health. By incorporating small modifications to our daily routine, such as practicing mindfulness or taking a walk, we can enhance our overall productivity and well-being.
