Pink Shirt Day 2023

Bullying is a means to seek to harm, intimidate, or coerce someone perceived as vulnerable. In 2007, David Shepherd and Travis Price stood up for a classmate that was being bullied for wearing a pink shirt as a boy. It was an organised high-school protest to support a young boy in that was in grade nine at the time, and wore a pink shirt to school. This protest, where several classmates that were male wore pink shirts,  gained worldwide attention over the years as bullying has become an issue at schools, workplaces, and on social media. As such, Pink Shirt Day was born, and honors those that have been bullied for whatever reason. At CTA architecture + design, we strive to promote a work culture that is friendly, inclusive and dynamic. Workplace bullying and harassment is not tolerated at CTA architecture + design and we stand in solidarity with those that honor Pink Shirt Day to denounce the existence of bullying, and we hope you will too.
